To achieve the authentic cadence and nostalgic feeling of vals, we suggest using the patterns at a tempo close to 145 BPM in 3/4 time. But if you're after the speed and festive rhythm of jarana, you can raise the tempo to 180 BPM or more to give your creations the unmistakable joyful touch of the genre.
